Today I spoke to Marianne Dimain about the results of a new Match.com survey showing that 1/3 of Canadians research their dates on the internet before the date.

Is this even healthy?

I realize we live in an age where mostly everything involved with dating is digital. However, from my experience in clinical practice, it seems that knowing too much about your date could actually lead to its demise before it's even begun! I'd highly recommend NOT googling your blind date in advance of the date. If you have any important questions - ask them in person as opposed to letting the internet inform you - because it may not even be correct!
